Shek Mun Kap Village Office (石門甲鄉公所) is a small one-storey pale-yellow-colored construction at the entrance of Shek Mun Kap Village. Shek Mun Kap Village is a small village at the southern side of Shek Mun Kap Road, which is a branch road of Tung Chung Road. It takes about five minutes from Tung Chung MTR / Bus Terminal.
In my speculation, the village office should have only little function now. Everything can be done in the internet and by phone. It seems that the office has been idle for a period. But its appearance is still kept in good condition.
Next to the village office, there is a three-storey new construction.
It should be built in 1988.
There are some decorations on both sides of the canopy.
It should be painted not long before, presumably before Chinese New Year (CNY) in 2013.
By New Lantau Bus, route number 34 goes direct to Shek Mun Kap from Tung Chung. Besides, route numbers 11, 23, 3M, A31, N35 bypass Shek Mun Kap.
