Pat Sin Bakery (八仙餅家) is a local bakery of Chinese cakes with long history in Sham Shui Po.

From information in the internet, Pat Sin Bakery was a section of Pat Sin Chinese Restaurant (八仙酒樓) in Cheung Sha Wan (長沙灣), Kowloon. At about 1966 (to be confirmed), eight partners started a Chinese restaurant called Pat Sin Tea House Restaurant (八仙大茶樓酒家) in Cheung Sha Wan. In 1973, they started another restaurant called Little West Lake Chinese Restaurant (小西湖酒樓) at the address of present Pat Sin Bakery (i.e. 197 Nam Cheong Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon).

The original Pat Sin Chinese Restaurant was forced to close in 1978 because of the construction of Mass Transit Railway (The Underground). A staff (Mr. Cheung Cheung
of Pat Sin Chinese Restaurant, as new partner) initiated a bakery called Pat Sin Bakery on the ground floor of Little West Lake Chinese Restaurant (i.e. at the present address of Pat Sin Bakery), as he believed that Chinese cakes should have quite good market in Hong Kong.

There are quite a lot of customers in the afternoon.

This is the signage of the old Pat Sin Chinese Restaurant.

The shop is not too large, with baking area at the back.

An array of Chinese cakes is displayed.
