In Hong Kong, the Canal Road Flyover between Wanchai and Causeway Bay (commonly called Goose-neck Bridge ) is a popular place for beating the Petty Person.

The ceremony is normally performed by older ladies. It costs HK$50 per beating.

The purpose of beating the petty person is not to kill someone, but to tell people to stop messing with you.
