Tai Tong Red Leaves (大棠紅葉)

In
Hong Kong, December is the time to see red leaves in Tai Tong again. It
was quite impressive to see "so many" red leaves in Hong Kong. Of
course, it cannot compare with those  maples in Canada, Japan and China.
To some people, it is not too cold in winter in Hong Kong. If there are
red leaves in winter, it must be one of the itineraries in weekend. In
December 2012, comparatively there are not too many red leaves or red
leave trees in Tai Tong. Or, the period of having red leaves in Tai Tong
is shorter than before. We can find quite a lot of withered brown
leaves on the ground. It should be a bit disappointing to most
photographers. Anyway, it is not so stunning as that in 2012.

Please
do not expect there are a large cluster of trees with red leaves in Tai
Tong. They are in fact a group of ten or more along the road.

Does it mean that the trees are not healthy enough?

Most leaves are in fact green, yellow and orange.

It is a rarity to see red leaves this year.

There are not too many photographers and visitors.

We have to treasure the chance of taking photos of red leaves.

Since there are not too many red leaves, they have to resort to take ... .
