The grand opening of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre (香港文化中心) was on 08 November 1989. It has 24 years history in 2013. It commands a waterfront position in Tsim Sha Tsui, on the west next to the Star Ferry Pier, and on the east next to the Space Museum.

Occupying an area of 5.2 hectares, it has a concert hall and grand theatre, entertaining about 2000 and 1700 audience respectively. It does have studio theatre, exhibition gallery and rehearsal rooms. Cultural Centre is a multipurpose performance facility for a wide variety of cultural performance.

The address is "10 Salisbury Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong".

This outdoor area is for performance on special festival days. It is also a good place to admire the Victoria Harbour and buildings on Hong Kong Island.

Though the Centre has more than 24 years history, its outlook is still not outdated.
