Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden
Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden 嘉道理農場暨植物園 www.kfbg.org is
in Tai Po of the New Territories. In the farm, various plants, flowers
and trees, animals, poultry, fish, waterfall, pavilions, and signposts
can be found. Apart from being a destination to spend a day or an
afternoon, it is also a place for conservation projects.
It is
quite convenient to get to Kadoorie Farm by public transport. Its
opening hours is 09:30 - 17:00. There is a cafe serving vegetarian food,
snacks and drinks. A farm shop sells souvenirs and small plants near
the main entrance.

Basically this
is the hiking route in Kadoorie Farm. The farm is in fact on a steep
hill. If you would like to visit every part of the farm, it is better to
spend one whole day. http://www.kfbg.org/wwwroot/images/upload/imap/imap.html is the link to imap.

Some are even
steeper than this. We notice a lady of early thirty walk barefoot on
this road, with a pair of 5-inches high heel on her hand.

An unknown fruit is like a sea-urchin.

This should be a planting event.

Signpost corner is nearly at the top of the hill.

This
is an interesting post. Apart from the places visited in the above
photos, we do not have enough time since we visit in the afternoon. We
should have missed a lot of other interesting things, plants and
aninmals. This is a valuable and leisure visit to Kadoorie Farm. You
should also spend one day to experience.
