Dried Seafood Street (official name: Des Voeux Road West) is in Sai Wan
of Hong Kong Island. It is the single area with the largest number of
shops selling dried seafood, tonic foods and traditional medicines.
Dried abalone, dried shrimp, dried scallop, dried black mushroom and
many others are widely sold in Dried Seafood Street.
In 2012, there is still no MTR accessible to Dried Seafood Street. The nearest MTR Station is Sheung Wan.
Or, you may take tram (heading for Kennedy Town) in Sheung Wan, it
takes about 10 minutes to Dried Seafood Street. Business hours is
normally from 10:00 to 18:00 daily.
