Mid-Autumn
Lantern Carnival (中秋彩燈會) is an annual activity in Victoria Park in
Causeway Bay. It should be the largest scale of its kind in Hong Kong.
This carnival will last for several days (from 27 September to 02
October 2012). It attracts flocks of citizens and tourists to visit and
take photos.

Visitors can enjoy the festive fun while appreciating the excellent craftsmanship of local masters.

7,000 pieces of LED are needed to make this giant moon-shaped lantern of 6 storeys high.

It is above a temporary water pool.

Apart from this carnival in Causeway Bay Victoria Park, there are also similar ones in the New Territories (
Tai Po Waterfront Park and Tung Chung Man Tung Road Park).
